What ever happened to the single-payer system nationalized healthcare reform bill anyways?
Why couldn’t a Democrat president with a majority in the Congress get some REAL healthcare reform like they originally wanted passed into law? Why are the Democrats celebrating the passage of this weak, watered-down version of healthcare reform when it is clearly NOT what they wanted?
Because half the Democrats are right wing conservatives. They’re only liberal in comparison to the fascists in the other party. It was off the table because there was no way they could get it through Congress. Sad.
Even without the single payer, it goes a long way to destroying America, so the left is happy.

I think the reason you might want to call it "weak" or "Watered-down" is because Obama wanted to include Republicans AND demorats…and Republicans have more that 200 ammendments on this bill.
But you’re right. It would have been a much better bill if the Dems had just told the repubs, "we don’t need your help or input"
